  • Contract Manager

    Former Vice President for Marketing & Contracts in COSL Drilling Europe AS responsible for all procurement of goods and services in the company with a yearly value of approx. 1 bill. NOK including the marketing and contract administration of sale contracts for 4 drilling- and 2 accommodation units for the years 2008 - 2020. Responsible for governing documents for all procurement activities in the company. Prior to COSL I had a total of 20 years work experience in Equinor where I hold the position as Procurement Manager for 9 years for all rig intake processes worldwide. During these years I was directly responsible for more than 60 rig intake processes in the company. Also, in charge of specific procurement strategies and negotiations with clients, establishing evaluation procedures, criteria and recommendations, including contract administration of the contracts from commencement date to completion date. Former Advisor in Equinor for all drilling & well related procurement activities and responsible for preparation and revision of commercial requirements and guidelines, and processing deviations from company requirements. Purchasing Manager for casing & tubing to all of Equinor’s drilling operations worldwide. Altogether approx. 32 years of worldwide experience from the Oil and Gas industry. 

  • Project Manager

    E&I, F&G, ESD, telecom and Commissioning specialist with experience in the Oil and Gas industry, ranging from New-builds, Re-activations, Modification projects, Operation support etc. related to all types of drilling vessels and large offshore projects as Gullfaks / Oseberg and Sleipner. Project Manager for rig modification and rig intake project.

    Working for Seadrill new build group I have hold most of the positions from Project / Site manager, Engineering Manager, commissioning manager, Technical manager. In addition, various discipline position related to electro / automation / Process control / Safety system / HVAC / Dynamic Position and Posmoor etc. Main countries worked in since 1997: Norway, Singapore, Korea and Japan.

  • Hogne Kile QRM / Risk Manager

    ISO certified Quality and Risk Manager. Experienced in most positions in the oil industry, from drilling to reservoir engineer, from drilling supervisor to projects manager. Holds strong expertise within quality, environmental, energy emissions management systems, some experiences with software cyber management systems. Experienced within risk management and various risk assessment methods and analyses, coordination and systematics. Establishment and audits of ISO based management systems. Recent special projects have been within areas of energy and emission reduction and emissions related improvement processes. Have also worked with barrier integrity and been project coordinator for “tett rigg” teams and inspections.

  • Construction Manager

    Kristian Thomassen has more than 35 years of working experience within the oil/gas/drilling/shipping industry. On/offshore mega projects worldwide for oil company, drilling contractors, drilling equipment vendor and oil/gas/passenger ships. 17 years experiments abroad in Asia, North America, South America, Middle East and Europe. Long experiments with fabrication in different yards, Coventry’s and cultures.

    Over the last 10 years Kristian has hold position as Construction manager for EQN’s CAT J MODU rigs building program in Korea  and Castberg FPSO in Singapore/Dubai. Further Kristian has worked as Construction manager for Aker Solution in Malasia.

    Experience span from early phase studies to operation of mobile newbuilds. Have supported several newbuilds during construction in Asia/ Norway and followed up the Operation Preparations processes when entering the NCS. Maintaining a strong hands-on knowledge from positions as Technical section Leader, Chief Engineer on Semi-submersibles, Jack-ups, Cabel layer Vessel and Chemical Tanker vessels.

    STCW Certified Chief Engineer. Several courses like DNVGL MOU Superintendent, High Voltage and ERM according to STCW. Also experience from Rig intake audit for NCS.

  • Struct/Marine engineer

    M.Sc. with more than 25 years’ experience from the marine and oil & energy industry, from executive level to direct project involvement and engineering work.

    In-depth knowledge and core competence in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering for Ships, Offshore Service Vessels, Cable Laying Vessels, Semisubmersibles, Floating Offshore Units, and thorough experience in offshore construction and installation projects and operations.

    Thorough experience in design, development and analysis of marine vessels: ships, semisubmersibles, offshore service vessel, cable laying vessels, tankers and conversions to FSU/FPSO. Heavily involved in offshore construction and installation projects, both engineering for planning, equipment design and mobilisation and operational procedures.

  • Crane certified specialist

    Well experienced and professional with a BSc in Subsea Technology and a strong background in certification and inspection of lifting and drilling equipment. Extensive offshore and field experience from various projects, holding key roles as Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Field Engineer.

    Has served as an Enterprise of Competence (EoC) representative, responsible for initial certification and annual inspections. Possesses in-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, including NORSOK, EC directives, EN standards, NMA and Norwegian legislation. A structured and solution-oriented specialist with strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of safety requirements within the industry.

  • Crane specialist

    Manager Enterprise of Competence, West Inspection AS

    Main work areas: Complete inspection and estimation of mechanical, electric and hydraulic calculations of offshore cranes. Annual survey and five yearly re-certification of drilling equipment, offshore cranes, lifeboats, davits, ROV systems and 3 part audits, accidents.

    Expert classification: A1-rated by the Norwegian Maritime Authority.

Technical advisor for integration of 3rd party equipment and systems. Experience as hull manager for semisubmersibles on site in Korea.

  • Commissioning Manager

    20+ years extensive experience in Oil & Gas, and most of the time in MC and Commissioning. BSc Electrical Engineer with experience in Instrumentation and Process. Graduated teacher, with teaching experience in School and Oil Company. Graduated in Business administration Cand Mag. Hands-on experience with Electrician trade certificate high and low voltage. Experience in working abroad, and experience with training of local work force at site. Multi disciplinary experience in daily problem solving with Yard and Class for punches and Engineering issues.
